Your next Kindle read might be written by a bot
I was browsing Kindle Unlimited today and realized half the “new releases” in my favorite genre have the exact same AI-generated cover. It’s getting hard to find a book with an actual soul.
Amazon recently added “Ask This Book” so you can chat with the text, but what’s the point if the text was written by a chatbot in the first place? It’s just AI talking to AI while we pay the bill.
Real authors are quitting because they can’t compete with the volume. It’s a mess, honestly.

Quantity over quality is a losing game for readers. If I wanted to read a GPT prompt, I’d go to ChatGPT for free. Amazon needs to step up. Just me?
