SpaceX + xAI: Why Grok is going into orbit
Elon Musk just merged SpaceX and xAI, and the plan is wild: putting AI data centers in space. Apparently, terrestrial power grids are “too weak” for the scale he wants. Talk about high-level scaling.

Grok Imagine 1.0 just launched too, and it’s already generating billions of videos. But the real story is the energy. Musk thinks within 3 years, running AI in space will be cheaper than on Earth. No cooling needed, just pure solar power.
It sounds like science fiction, but with Musk, it usually ends up being 50% genius and 50% chaos. We’ll see which one wins this time.

Alex’s Take
Launching GPUs into space to save on the electric bill is the most Elon thing I’ve ever heard. If it works, he owns the moon. If it doesn’t, we have a lot of expensive space junk. Just me?
